Plus is owned and managed by Sue Montgomery, a Certified
Professional Résumé Writer and Internationally Certified
Job and Career Transition Coach. Ms. Montgomery has a background
in marketing and a bachelor's degree in marketing communication.
She spent 10 years creating marketing and advertising programs for
a Fortune 500 company before founding Résumé Plus in 1991.

Ms. Montgomery is Editor-in-Chief and Senior Staff Writer for Tunes & Trends magazine. She is also Senior Staff Writer for Single Source News magazine. In addition, Ms. Montgomery creates print, television and radio advertisements as well as capabilities brochures and associated sales materials for companies doing business in a variety of industries. Before establishing Résumé Plus, she oversaw the development of marketing materials for two of Eastman Kodak's product lines.
Ms. Montgomery is a Career Management Professional, member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC), the Career Masters Institute (CMI) and the National Résumé Writers Association (NRWA). She has been a member of the PARW/CC Board of Directors and head of the organization's Certification Committee.
Ms. Montgomery has frequently served as a judge for the PARW/CC
Best Résumé Contest and as a speaker for the group's annual convention.
She has also been retained to speak before Wright State University's
graduate program students and has served as a speaker and trainer
for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Ms. Montgomery was the only professional résumé writer in Dayton, Ohio to be interviewed for the local CBS television program, Learning Counts, and was the only professional résumé writer retained for both Phase I and Phase II of the United States Government's Defense Electronics Supply Center's outplacement process. She and her staff wrote more than 400 résumés for downsized employees seeking opportunities with other government organizations, private businesses and government contracting companies.
